I have two NICs installed in one machine. When I did the server installation, I saw the drivers for only one card. How do I install the drivers for the other card?

if it's 6 - slap the card in and nwconfig will launch and detect the driver for you

if it doesnt then just load the correct driver and then add line to autoexec

ie

load 3c5x9 rtn

First identify the card you have. Then head up to the manufactures web site to download the driver. You should get two file, one will be a .LAN, the other will be an LDI file. Some manufactures will also distribute some additioanl NLM's with their driver, be sure you copy those to a floppy too (you can also place these files in a directory on your server).

Find and note the PCI slot the card is installed to.

With in the INETCFG utiltiy, go to the Board section and press enter, then press insert. Press insert again and point the system to the location of the driver. It will read the LDI file to identify the driver, you will need to enter in the PCI port number. Other info is not really needed. Save, and either reinitialize system or restart the server.
