install xp from hard disk partition

Say you want to use partition E:, and your CD Rom drive is G:
1. Copy the contents of the XP CD:
xcopy /s/e g:\i386 e:\i386
2. Run the installation:
. If from a DOS boot:
e:\i386\winnt.exe /S:e:\i386
. If from a CMD session inside of Windows:
e:\i386\winnt32.exe /S:e:\i386
1. Copy the contents of the XP CD:
xcopy /s/e g:\i386 e:\i386
2. Run the installation:
. If from a DOS boot:
e:\i386\winnt.exe /S:e:\i386
. If from a CMD session inside of Windows:
e:\i386\winnt32.exe /S:e:\i386
