install TS on server runing exchange 2003

Server 2003 standard, exchange 2003 standard..any problems installing terminal servvices? will it break anything?

I would advise against installing TS on the exchange server there other issues to consider like security. However it will go on. While I was away on holiday a collegue installed it on our exchange server.

Remember your applications need to be loaded after ts is installed.

If we try to run outlook 2003 on the exchange server we get the following error:
It is highly recommended that you use Outlook Web Access instead of the Outlook client on a computer running Exchange.

If however you do choose to install Outlook, it is recommended that you search for the technical resource 'Implementing Side-by-Side Component Sharing in Applications' at

http://msdn.microsoft.com,

and refer to its instructions to resolve the MAPI incompatibility errors that may occur.

So you might need to do a bit of work to get outlook to work, we have since set up a ts server.

If your going to do it then use Virtual Server, its free now and will solve any compatibility issues although it would be better to have the exchange also in a virtual server on the same machine.
