Install Oracle 10g Database and App. Server on same Machine

Hi,
I am learning oracle and have a question:
Can I install Oracle 10g Database and Oracle 10g Application Server (Portal and Wireless) on the same machine. How much RAM do I need to run them properly. Is there a link that can guide me to install both step by step.

Yes, you can install both on the same machine. I did. The computer should have 1 GB RAM.
