Tested runtime install on a Windows 2000 machine, and it worked without error.
Had a client install the same runtime files on their Windows 2000 machine, and they received the following error:
Failed to self-register keycode.dll
They clicked ok through the error and are able to run the Crystal 9 reports just fine.
But, what caused this error? Has anyone else received this error?
This user may have (and I have to check) had Crystal 8.5 developer on their machine. If so, then would they receive this error if they install just the Crystal 9 runtime files on the machine?
Any ideas as to where to start would be helpful. Thanks.
