I have a NT network with an internal DNS server. I need to change an entry in my etc/hosts file to be able to see one of our internal web servers. Is there something I can do on the DNS server so that I won't need to change the hosts file of every machine in the building?

I know quite a while ago I created a batch file that would copy a hosts file into the clients pc's. I placed the batch file on the network, had the users click on the shortcut that would run it, and whenever I needed to copy a new hosts file, I would mass e-mail the users to run the batch file. This way, all I had to do was update the hosts file that was on the network. Good luck.
