Inserting people into photographs

I have a picture of a group of people. I want to insert a picture of someone else from a different photograph into the picture. Can anyone tell me how to do it?
I would appreciate any advice at all as I am very confused!!

This seems like an Adobe Photoshop question. Try doing a search for "cloning," "feathering" or "image manipulation.
