I would like to insert a jpg image (or any type image for that matter) and have it point to a hyperlink. I know this can be done by right clickingand selecting Hyperlink. However, what I would like to do is to be able to link by clicking once and not having to press down on CTRL. Can this be done? Thanks!

Howdy

Yes that can be done (i'm assuming you're using XP as I don't know any other version that does this).

Click on Tools -> Options
Go to the Edit tab
Untick Use ctrl + click to follow hyperlink

You should now be able to just click, without the ctrl key.

Thanks for answering back so quickly. Yes, that's exactly what I did to set up the link to the image. I think I didn't explain myself very real in my original message.

I am working in Word (Office XP). I can set up the image and its corresponding link by doing exactly what you said (which is what I have been doing). However, once I have saved the document and sent it to other people, I want them to click once on the image and have it go directly to the web site. Apparently, though, they can go the web page in the link is to hold down the CTRL key and then clicking on the image. That's exactly what I want to avoid. I don't wnat them to have to press down on CTRL. Is there anyway of avoiding this?

Thanks again and sorry for the confusion!
