inserting a signature outlook xp

When creating an email message (reply/forward/new) with outlook XP and using Word as the editor, can I insert a pre-existing signature on to a single message (not create a signature to include on all message)? There used to be a button for inserting one of the signatures, but I can't seem to find it in outlook XP.

I OL2000 you have to turn off Word as your email editor for signatures to be avaliable.

Is there a way to add the signature (& vCard) in VB code? I've been trying to find out a way to do that for months.
