Insert Record problem

I'm trying to insert a record in a table. One of the fields contains a directory path as its value. If I have a standard text input field, the update works fine, but if I try to use the file field (from the Forms tab) allowing the user to browse for the directory path, the Insert Record action does not work. Any ideas? Thanks

You need to provide more information. What language are you using? Are you using an upload program (such as pure asp upload) to upload from the file field? When you say the insert doesn't work what do you mean?
