Hello All,

Some help please:

I have a Master File that contains a list of the headcount on board for the department.

This Master File is linked to other files that the manager's maintain and update with their individual headcount details.

Is there a way, that if one of the linked files has a row inserted, that the Master File will automatically insert a row also?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Suggie,

not sure if I understand correctly ... do you mean that you want the reference in the Master File to adjust by one row, when a linked file has a row inserted?

Cheers, Glenn.

If you want to play with triggers you have to consider using a REAL database engine ...

Hope This Helps, PH.
