Insalled MySQL - what now (very simple)

i have installed mysql. (windows) the manual is not very helpful!!

i simply want to know how i get a database connected. or what i am suposed to do next.

I can't belive something so useful and easy, can be made so hard to install.

It's not so hard at all! Have a look at the recent thread "Can't start MySQL", which should be helpful.
