Hi all,

Question, I have an Option 61c running 23.55 software. We have just connected up our PRI to the CO and have been given a range of 30 DID numbers. How and where do I input my DID numbers?

You don't have to 'input' your DID numbers; you just need to assign DNs that match the digits your CO is sending you. If you already have DNs built you dont want to change, use an IDC table in LD49 to map DID to non-DID extensions. -Matt

correct, just use the last four (or 3) numbers as a dn...

If I had a DID range of 3000-3010 and the CO was dropping down 10 digits how would I program up my IDC take to convert 416-123-3000 to 3000 (internal). What would be my entries in load 49?

Erm, someone correct me if I'm wrong; I think it would be:
REQ NEW
TYPE IDC
CUST 0
IDC 1 (or next available)
FDID <CR>
IDGT 4132133
4132133 3
<CR>

Then anything that came in with those leading digits 413-213-3xxx would translate to 3xxx...

Then in LD16 put IDC 1 on your inbound RDB. -Matt

before any one can answer that you'll need to do ld 49, prt idc return return, to see whats there, the above post would work if you don't have an idc built, after that go the ld 16 and change the rdb, at the idu prompt, enter yes and at both of the next 2 prompts enter is idc table enter.. i always have the co to send just the digits i need, so i can use idc to translate....btw if you put the idc in a range you will have to delete it when you need to use it to cange the last 4 digits on a number...

Will this work also:

REQ NEW
TYPE IDC
CUST 0
IDC 1 (or next available)
FDID <CR>
IDGT 4132133002
4132133002 3000
<CR>

When 413-213-3002 comes down it will translate to 3000.

yes exactly, that will translate the one number, just add lines for other numbers

Yes it will; if you enter the whole digit string then you have to enter all of them. You can also on IDGT enter a range; ie, 4132133000 4132133005 and it will prompt you for each one (all 6 in that range)... -Matt

seems your not that familiar with did, those would be normal for single stations or dept numbers, the main number is normal just two way trunks with auto = yes and atdn = to your main answer point....not a hard fact, the hosp is paying for did trunks for their main number, but only using the one number for 6 att consoles...but they have over 200 did trunks with 10K did numbers
