Hi All,
Probably another easy question to answer.
I am sending test information from one subnet to another.
The information goes from the PC through the switch (Basic setup) through the Ethernet interface of the router and out of the serial interface of the router.
When studying the flow of data at the router i am using the following command:-
sh int e3/0 summ
sh int s2/1 summ
The amount of information flowing into the E3/0 interface is what I expext (around 32000 bps) but the information flowing out of that interface is only about 3000 bps.
When I view the information from the S2/1 interface I see approximately 4000 - 5000 bps going out before the OHQ starts to get filled.
The bandwidth on the S2/1 interface is restricted to 30k to simulate a real time environment we will be using.
I dont understand why the data is slow to traverse the router.
Anyone got any ideas?
