How do I do an input mask for a text field (ID) that contains only numbers (users can enter up to 13 digits)

Place the curor within the input mask field for a control or field. Press F1, select the character that matches your challenge, and use 13 of them.

In my case the ID field could be 4 or 13 digits. Is there a way to tell them not to limit the number of digits entered ?
