inno setup

Hi all,

I created a software is VB6. I packaged it using inno setup. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with inno setup? I would like it to check if the software is already installed when the cd is inserted before it starts the installation. Basically if the software was installed i don't won't the setup to start everytime the cd is inserted. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.

I was wondering if I can find some examples for this certain task.

I'm not familiar with the program you are referring to but to do something like this the setup would have to lauch and then go through a quick verification process to scan for either a directory, file or registry entry(I would do registry) and if found then exit program else continue.

Everytime I want INNO to do something specific I have found answers in the archives. It may take some searching but if INNO can do it it should be there.
