Initialize the backup device

Hi
I create a backup device called "Daily", but it seems my database never backup, which later on I find out the error is "the backup device is not initiated" . How can I initiate the backup device.

I am using MS SQL 6.5 on MS 2000

I just find the answer by my own.

Just execute command:

Dump YourDBName to BackupDevice with init

Since, to make the backup auto starts next time, the 1st backup must be a Full Backup first, which the command above will do both: inite the backup device and also make a full backup first time.
