informix on linux on PPC (Apple MAC PPC)

It is possible to install some version of Informix server on MAC G3, G4 or G5 if we have linux installed on MAC?

Wow...thats all I wanted to say. Wow. I cant imagine why it wouldnt work, just download the linux version of IDS from IBM.
