I am interested in the relational model and how it is used to produce relational database management systems. I am also interested in future developments of DBMS's.

Does anyone know of any good web sites that I might be interested in?

Thank you for your time.

I highly recommend the book "SQL:The Complete Reference" published by Osborne. It offers a very balanced, comprehensive treatment of relational database theory, SQL and data warehousing. It's a "must have" for anyone wanting to get into the database field or just wants to know more about databases. It also comes with a CD with trial versions of RDBMS software including Oracle, Informix, Sybase, SQL Server and DB2.
