information on asp and cold fusion in flash

i have a mac and am trying to learn more about asp and cold fusion for creating more complex web sites with auto searching capacities. from what i have read so far, it seems that asp and cold fusion are viable options for me to work with and which also work with flash. what i want to know is how do i go about integrating them with flash_? and also, i read dreamweaver is excellent for this also, so how would i integrate dream weaver? to not be too general in this question, i would use the example of a search engine for my site that searches for key words and then returns a list with each page therein.... would one program be better than the other?
