Hi,

I have some experience with regular SQL, it MySQL different than SQL? And secondly, what is a good way/source to get to know MySQL?

Thanks.

I am sort of a beginner myself, but I'm getting better quickly. I am pretty sure that MYSQL is different than SQL in some way, but I'm pretty sure that that means it is better.

As for getting to know MYSQL, it depends on how you are going to use it. I use it on web pages through PHP, others use it in other ways. I read a GREAT book about MYSQL and PHP, I'll find the title and post it later.

Hope this helps.

Peace out,
Peace Co.
