info. stores utilities freezing

Exchange 2000 sp3. We have three information stores. I successfully ran the eseutil defrag on two of the stores, but on the third one, it freezes at around 5%. I don't see any error messages in the event viewer corresponding to this. I can't find any log files that are at all helpful.
I tried running isinteg -s Servername -fix -test allfoldertests and this freezes at the second test when
it is at 100%.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
