The "Seagate Analysis Server" is not the piece that you need to run a report. There are three services that need to be running on the APS in order for everything to work correctly and they MUST be started in this order:
Info Sentinel
Info Agent
Info APS
Stop the services in the reverse order (APS first) and then restart them. Starting them in any other order will cause errors either when you try to start them or when you try to run or print reports.
If you can access the Info Administrator application, go to the "Info Servers" tab and check to see that the "light bulb" icon next to the server is lit. You can also check the "Maximum Load" (don't make it to high - we use 5) and the server availability to see if the server was unavailable at the time you were trying to schedule your report.
Also, in the properties of the report, check the "Servers" tab and see if there is a "Processing Server" listed. Unless you have more than one report server connected to the APS, you should not have anything set here. And even if you do have more than one report server, you only need to set this value if you have a real need for it.
