I'm trying to set up MS Indexing Service on our W2K server. Whilst I can index the local drive fine, when I try and set up a catalog to index a remote server I get the error message:
"Catalog name or location is already in use or invalid"
Searching for this error message on Google brings up no results, and I'm absolutely stumped with what the problem could be.
I don't think it's the security permissions as the administrator has complete rights to both machines. The machine I'm trying to index runs on Windows NT and I thought this could be the problem, but I get the same error message when trying to set up a catalog for a server running on W2K.
