Indexes on 10g

Hi,

I have set aside a filesystem on a couple of spindles (used for nothing else) for indexes.

I am creating a corresponding tablespace on that filesystem for indexes and I want Oracle to place all indexes for my database installation on this filesystem by default.

I expected this to be a database creation option as AFAICR it was with 815.

Please will someone tell me if it is possible and if so how to do it.

If it isn't possible, then what will be my best strategy for achieving this? Hopefully that won't be explicitly stating the tablespace for each and every index.
