Anyone have any insight into this since Avaya stopped support a few years ago.

I understand it has something to do with the date on the kit but past that I don't have a clue.

We have a couple of sites that we don't have engineer access to and a few CPUs that we have no password for at all. Defaulting these would lose any licenses that can't be retrieved anymore from ADI.

You should be able to get your disti to set you up ADI view only access as you can't do anything else apart from view whats on the license key.
