InDesign Slow to Re-draw

When scrolling through a document that I've designed - why does InDesign take so long to redraw? I have a G4 Dual Processor 1.25ghz and 768 megs of ram.
Can someone help???

What is on the page? What version are you using? IDCS improved the responsiveness.

I am using InDesign version 2.0. When there is any type of Graphic image (Tiff or EPS) embeded in my design and I attempt to scroll across the page or up and down in order to work elsewhere on the page - it is very very slow to re-draw.

Hi

What you have in preferences in Display performance ??
Switch to TYPICAL and click DEFAULT ... and now scroll
