incoming caller id on pots lines 3

I was wondering what i need to do to have incoming clid on our pots lines, we have 8 lines with a did then routed to ext 2600 through the idc table. This is one of the phones

There is no way (in the US) to get CLID on copper into a CS1K. The BCM does it, but not the big switches.

I am in Canada, we are CS1K, can i just call bell and have them add caller id to our lines?

Hi

Just called bell we are paying for caller id on these lines,

The people on these phones have told me they had caller id before, is possible to show caller id if they are connected to a Norstar and not on a big switch as they were connected to a norstar before we got the option.

That's your issue. Norstar supports it. The CS100 doesn't on the trunks.

The Class card (actually CRMC) provides CLID to an analog phone connected to the CS 1000.

As 911guru stated, there is no analog trunk card on a CS 1000 in North America which is capable of receiving CLID.

In your reply you say the card provides CLID to analog phones if we got this card would it work with the digital phones m3905 that answer calls from the analog lines?

There is no analog trunk card for the CS1000 capable of recognizing Caller ID signaling.

The Class card will generate analog Caller ID for internal calls and deliver to analog sets connected to the PBX, but the only way to get Caller ID into the PBX from outside is over a D-Channel interface.

Thanks, I understand now, the only way i can have caller ID on these sets is to port the number over to PRI, and if i had analog phones on the system i could get a class card and caller id on analog sets.
