Below I have the beginnings of two traces, calls into separate trunk groups; one PRI, and the other from my SBC (SIP).

When I call into a number on the PRI trunk, the system sees my cell number in the EC500, and converts to my extension. I have not been successful in getting the SIP trunk to do the same. Obviously, there are some differences in the trunk group setup, but I'm hoping someone knows what I am missing here?

Thanks for your time.

Show your off-pbx setup.
What you to make sure of is that there is only your 10 digit number in the phone field, and put a 1 in the Dial prefix field.

What are you trying to achieve here? dont forget the SIP trunk will probably deliver the number in e.164 format(or should be if your session manager is proxing through the details in the invite to CM) so if you are trying to match digits the issue will most probably be that you are not matching on that basis. Can you rovide more info on your environment and exactly what you wnt to do.

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

Monty: Currently, when I call a DID the rings on a PRI from my cell phone, internal phone displays my extension, not my cell number. I just want to repeat that same behavior on the SIP DID's. When viewing the call trace, the ANI is correct (my cell number) but the system does not recognize it the same way, and does not convert the display to my extension.

Also, if I call into our auto attendant, and dial my extension, the system sends a call back to my cell using EC500. Not that I would be calling myself ever, but I think if it were working correctly, this would not occur.

If your phone number in the phone field is 14041234567, then for EC500 to work it has to see it that way. The same would be true it was not there. If you put the 1 to the perfex field then EC500 will work if the 1 is on caller ID or not. Some carriers send the 1 and some don't.
