HI all, a little help please.
I am trying to create an installation package for my database. I have the package and Deployment wizard installed.
I am going to be distributing my database to clients who may or may not have access installed, so I want to include the Access Runtime Libraries.
To test the Package and Deployment Wizard, I made an installation program for a very small (pretty much useless) database, just to see if it would install the Runtimes. When I ran the installation, sure enough... the runtimes setup kicked in...
When I use the same process on an installation package for my big database, for some reason the Runtimes setup doesn't kick in.
My database consists of the following:
1.) A Front end that is about 30meg
2.) A Back end that is about 20meg
3.) A reference to the acwzmain.mde file
4.) Its own mdw
There's no error, no warning... it just doesn't attempt to install the Runtimes.
Please help! This is of course way behind schedule, and needs to be released soon!
(is there any other way to program?)
