Hey All; I have a MICS with 7.0 software, and a CP150. Calls are answered by the CP's auto attd correctly, but when the caller dials the ext they want, the CP is saying that the ext does not exist?????? I have never had this issue before on any key system, with a flash, or a CP? I am tempted to think it is the lines. A local small cable company has started providing lines in the area, and this is our 2nd customer to have the lines. I have noticed that the auto time and date cannot be used as the lines keep giving the wrong info, and we have also had issues with outgoing DTMF. How can I prove or dis-prove this??? Anybody out there had this happen? Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the touch tone gate is not on. I think it is in the AA properties.

get a digit grabber and a caller id box and insert it into/accross the incoming lines. (whozz calling 4 or 8 can capture the call data and give you a serial output for a printer or PC capture) This would give you a leg to stand on when you talk to the local telco, PUC, etc.

You can also test using an ATA for dial tone on a trunk port and try dialing digits on the AA....dial the ATA DN, wait for AA to pick up, try a DN.

What verion software on the CP?

Not advisable to use Auto Time and date.

Touch Tone I think is F983/AA and press 1
