After getting some advice from the other forum members, I've decided that it's a good idea to split my db into FE and BE. But I also want to set up user-level security.
My question is this: does it matter if I split the database first and then run the user-level security wizard (and if that's the way to go, do I run it for the FE, the BE, or both?), or should I instead run the user-level security wizard first, and then split the db into FE and BE? Also, I'm thinking of using a password to protect the VBA code; is there a specific point in the sequence in which I should do that in order to minimize potential complications?
Thanks a lot,
Spherey
