hello...
I am in need of some help setting up a SunRay 2.0 environment. We have several SunRay 150's and want to implement them across our LAN. Our LAN has several subnets, so what we'd like to do is have a centrally located SunRay server on one of the subnets, but allow SunRay appliances on other subnets to communicate with it. I have read the manuals and it seems like this can be done, but I am running into issues. According to the manual, I can use either bootp forwarding on the routers to 'guide' the appliances to the SunRay server or I can rely on the routers and existing DHCP servers to do this automatically if they are RFC 2132 compliant. Can someone confirm or deny this interpretation for me? Also, if it is possible to use this system on a LAN w/o enabling bootp forwarding, what configuration changes do I need to make on the SunRay server?

thanking you in advance...

Brantley
