Hi there, I have two servers running Windows 2003 and terminal services (one is a DC). We have recently had a problem where one of them went down and it was a nightmare. I am in the process of buying a new server which I want to use as a backup domain controller and also as a backup for if either server fails, so i wish to have the users data as up to date as possible on the backup machine.
What is my best option? I was thinking to run a nightly back up (I have CA Arcserve) onto tape and then also do a restore onto the backup server. So at least the users can have up to last nights info to use if a server goes down, although I will have a nightmare synchronizing after, but I have no budget for extra software to handle it?
Any ideas?
Cheers ears.
