I have two crosstab tables in my report. Both tables are exactly the same but one is for "Surveys" and one is for "fits".

The columns show "week 1", "..2", "..3" & "..4"
The rows show "status 50","..60","..70" & "..90"
The body is made up of "How many jobs" there are.

My problem is, that in the "survey" table there is no jobs CURRENTLY at "Status 90" for any of the weeks. So Business Objects just doesn't show that row. I need the crosstab to constantly show all four status rows, even when all four weeks are null.

Make sense? Is this possible?

it is not being returned in the query and therefore will not show in the report. Modify the query to return the data (outer joins will probably do if you have a decent relational database) and the crosstab will follow suit.

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

If changing the universe structure is no option then you can build a workaround (with full-client):

Use a second dataprovider that fetches the four values for status: "status 50","..60","..70" & "..90"

Synchronize dataproviders over the status dimension and then proceed to use the status dimension from the 2nd dataprovider in the crosstab.

I have just tested this in 6.5 and it works quite well

Blom's answer is the best one. Just be careful. If you have any filters or sections in the report, it won't work.
