IMS connecting to server can't hear message 2

I can't figure this out. I have installed IMS and when I connect via outlook I get the form with the controls to play back the message and my phone goes off hook and it says invite in the display but the message does not play.

When I log in to my MBX via the phone the message is there and can retrieve it.

This is on Windows 2000 server IPO 3.1.48 VMPRO 3.1.16

The client in XP sp 2

Any help is appreciated.

does it work through the PC? i assume you ran the .bat program on the client and changed all of the DCOM settings on the Server and Client.

I have just spent 2 days creating a 32 page doccument which highlights the exact implementation of IMS 3.1 on Server 2003SP1 and XPSP2 in a 2003 domain enviroment. This includes all of the required DCOM changes required. Post you email address in xxx at xx . com format and I will email to you.

If the IMS client is connecting to the server, and the only fault is when you try to play back, your issue lies with DCOM on the IMS gateway service on the client not being configured correctly, the document covers this in detail !
