Hello there

I have a quick query. I am wondering how I would go about importing 2 tables from an oracle 8 database into an Access one. Looking the Oracle DB through Toad I tried exporting directly into my Access DB but was given an error, so I assume they are incompatable. Does anyone have any info on how I could go about this process.

Hiya Eoin,

Do you have ODBC data sources set up for Oracle? If you do, it is very simple. You just need to select the two Oracle table as linked tables, the do a select into query into two access tables to make copies. Then you can do whatever you need in Access.
