Me again. I want to include a video from a CD. It comes in 2 versions with suffixes .wmv and .avi (presumably Windows Media Player and Quicktime). Presume it's simplest to open it in a new page. Do I copy both files into the DW folder, and add a link on the appropriate page(s)? Or is it more complicated? And do I need to use both files?
Thanks in advance to this incredibly helpful site.

You can simply upload the file(s) and create a link to your video files and they will open if the user has the correct player installed.

Another approach would be to embed the file onto your page. Here is a site that will write all the code for you after you enter a little information.

Thanks again, Dodge. Should I upload both file formats – and does this mean adding two links on the web page (identifying the player required)?

I don't see a need to put both on your site. Most users today can view both types of files. I would choose the smaller file and upload that.
