importing outlook email adresses into access

I would like to backup my email adresses from my pst-file into an access table.
I can open Outlook and export the addressbook to an access database without any problem.
But to make it easier I would like to import the adresses in Access with a macro.
But when importing I cannot import all the fields. For instance, the fields email2 and email3 are not imported, and many other also.
Anyone knows why? The wizzard doesn't give me any options...
I use Outlook and Access XP.

Unfortunately this is how it's meant to work (goodness knows why!). I did once manage to get round it, but it was a one-off fluke, I couldn't manage to do it again & I've not been able to find any info on it.
Why do you want to back up into Access? Are there any other options you could consider?

Hi Sharon,

Thanks for responding! Basically Access is well known to me, and if I could build a macro to do the job, I would be able to back-up the email addresses with one push of a button, and have it outside Outlook, ready to print or do whatever I would like... Besides you can put them back into Outlook very easily.
Off course I can back it up manually from Outlook itself, but it means more work getting the output in the format I want. You need to follow through the wizzard every time...
So the reason for Access is pure convenience and comfort.
Any other suggestions?

Hmmm, I don't like computers defeating me, so I'll see what I can think of. Unfortunately I don't seem to have access directly to my pst file at work (seems strange, but there you go) & due to a complicated house move I may be computerless at home for a while.
The only thoughts I've had would be to just make a copy of the pst file (although I don't know how that would work when you wanted to print) or to look at using MAPI objects.
I'll post again if I think of anything more useful, let me know if you get anywhere.
