Hi there,

If this sounds like a basic question, I'm sorry.

How do I import multiple tables (created in MS Word) into an Access database.

There are lots of seperate files saved with the same table format but obviously different data. e.g files names NatWest_Ldn and Deutsche_NY, containing a table with same fields (location, IP address, etc).

P.S Is there a QUICK way of scanning through a directory accessing all the files and importing at the same time, rather than myself having to open each file and use a import method (which your going to outline to me :p ) for EVERY single file???

I don't believe there is an easy way to import Word Tables into Access.

The only way I've been able to accomplish this was to copy the table into Excel. Access will then easily import from Excel into a database.

Word tables appear to be a unique format that Access can not read.
