Importing mail to OE6 from OE6 (on Win2KPro)

I set up a new user profile (loginID) for myself on Win2KPro because the previous one got changed irrevocably. OutlookExp doesn't recognize this new user, so I had to set up OE all over again. I'd hoped to import the old mail. Now I can't find the file for mail that was in OE6 under that previous user ID. OE only lets me import mail from another OE "identity"; I basically need to import from another Win2K user. I've lost tons of important info! Any help is greatly appreciated -Thanx.

I should add that my previous loginID and new loginID are under different domains. But the mail was downloaded to my machine - it should be somewhere, right? Or could switching domains have wiped out the old message store?
