Importing into Excel?

I have about 4000 lines of data in a text file in the following format:

Name Phone Email City/State Time Zone
JOHN DOE 5556263991 email@essex1.com STERLING/IL C
MARY SMITH 5556479310 email@msn.com MANCHESTER/NH E
PETER DOE 5552457699 email@aol.com ROYSTON/GA E
DONNA SMITH 554686994 email@aol.com NEW HAVEN/CT E


I have tried importing, but the data does not line up properly in the columns. I have tried in both Access and Excel. Any suggestions or a tutorial I can look into?

The subject line should have Access, not excel. My mistake.
