I have a file made in filemaker pro 6 (.fp5 ext) that I need to open. Any ideas how to get it into VFP or Access or Excel?
Thanks in advance...

Do you have Filemaker? Have you tried and ODBC connection?

You might want to search forum295 FileMaker Inc.: FileMaker Pro

It may be obvious but have you tried to open the file after starting VFP > File > Open > Files of type > All files (*.*) > yourfile.fp5

Then if it does open save as yourfile.dbf etc?

Just a thought as I had a data file once that was saved as myfile.opn even though I have no idea where .opn came from but it worked for us no problem

Good luck
