have setup a microsoft access 2000 database. when i go to import the file the import options wont let me select the needed extension (.JRN) how could i import this file into the database with or with out the import in the file menu. also the drop down menu only lets me select text, excell, odbc,lotus1-2-3 files.

Have you tried converting the .JRN file into a text format and then import the information?

the .jrn file are files converted from pascal to ascii and from the conversion program it wont let me change them to or reformat to text

jcpelejo will download and try it thanks for your help

Hi!

If that download doesn't look, maybe you can open it in Excel and save the data as a spreadsheet which you can then transfer into Access.
