Hey. I'm trying to find out how to move a Win2k Exchange Store from an old server to a new (also using Win2k Server). Only problem is, I have never used Server 2k, and I'm relatively new to all of this, so it's not something I can just figure out. I'm more of an early apprentice to him, with little to no experience. PLEASE HELP!!! IMA NOOB!!!

if two server are up use mailbox move, down time to user only when that mailbox is being moved. below is a link to exchange2003 it is essentially the same for e2k,
only thing that has to watch for in e2k, even one single message is corrupted in a mailbox, the move of that mailbox will fail, so make sure you don't have corrupt messages, you can use offline ISINTEG and ESEUTIL to check the exchange database, if you are not comfortable of using those tools, it might just corrupt a good exchange database, can use backup software, such as veritas with exchange agent, for mailbox level backup, it will spot any corrupted messages in their log, then you search mskb for how you can remove corrupted messages.
or use EXMERGE, be sure to use the latest version, some said the 2gb limits is no longer there, but I use a latest version still encounterd problem with mailbox near 2gb.
