IMporting DXF and DWG changes font size

I'm trying to import a dxf or dwg file created by autocad into corel 11. When I do, the fonts are made smaller by about 1/6" which throws not only the size off, but measurements to center. Does anyone know what causes this?

Since the original is created in Autocad, I beleive I have run into this a few times, when you are exporting or importing don't you have the option of Fonts be converted to curves and not as TTF. Make certain that you verify the export settings and also the import option from one program to the other.
