I have a job on at the moment where the customer would like to have the intro from their website used in their video. The intro is a flash file, so is there any way I can import it into premiere 6.5

Yes. From Macromedia Flash OR LiveMotion you can export the timeline to a quicktime file. If you do not have access to either of those applications for the original files, you can
use a utility such as Flashants to convert your SWF to and AVI for Premiere.

You can also export as frames, which does an end-run around any needs to worry about codec-matching.

I have discovered that sometimes not all elements from the Flash timeline export in the >> AVI or >> frames process. I don't know how to codify it, however.

Good luck!
