I would like to import a pdf file into ID and then edit the pictures and text. I am new to ID so I do not know, Is this possible?

Imported pdf question

Short answer: No. The pdf remains a linked graphic just like a tiff or eps and is not directly editable in ID
If you place it in a frame, you'll be able to crop using the frame edges, as you can do with any graphic. You can always place a new pic over any pics in the pdf or simply cover a pic with any opaque element.
You'd be best off editing (a little) text in Acrobat Pro if you don't have the original work in its creator app.
Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
