Hello all,

I am working on a little project, and it would be very helpful to have my database kick out a certain Word Doc based on the selections. Now I can make it a report by cut and paste, but that just seems sloppy... is there a better way to do this? And while we are at it the main goal is that I would like to make the Doc modifiable (sp?) and the cut and paste method would not be. VBA ignorant. Any ideas??

Need a little more info to answer your question. Are you cutting and pasting from a table to a report? Guess I just don't get why you're having to cut and paste if your in Access to create the report. If you want the Table or Query data to export to Word, you can use Access's Export feature. Sorry if not much help, can you explain a little more?

Sure. . . here we go. . . There are a certain number of Word Docs that I want to have embedded in the DB. Now I don't want some OLE thing, I want a living breathing, modifiable document if that is possible. Is it? nad if so what is the best way of getting the information into the DB?
