Import transparent pictures

I want to import transparents oicture especially gif's one, and liked to to import psd files and even ai files,

File>Import.

You will only be able to import older (v.2.5 or 3) psd files.

First of all, eventough you mentioned that gif files are your main option, from my experience, you will get better results if you use PNG file format for transparent pictures, keepinfg in mind that Flash is very familiar with this file type.

Regarding .psd and .ai files you can read these articles(it all depends of what version of Flash you are using and if Quicktime is instaled on your computer):

Definitely right on the PNG... they support alpha transparency as well. The best choice hands down.
